David A. MacInnes was a fan from Memphis, Tennessee, and Sandy Spring, Maryland, active in the 1940s and '50s. He attended Philcon, Cinvention, and a number of other Worldcons of the era. He recorded fans at Cinvention on a wire recorder. He was an honorary member of the British Fantasy Library.

MacInnes pubbed Necromancer.

He was married to fellow fan Pam MacInnes and had a pet scotch terrier, Goldberg Soda, famous enough to rate an article of its own in Fancyclopedia 2.
