Ditto 1 was a fanzine-oriented convention held September 23–25, 1988, at the Brownstone Hotel on Charles Street East, Toronto. Organized by Bob Webber, Taral, Mike Glicksohn, Alan Rosenthal and Catherine Crockett.

Boyd Raeburn was selected as the GoH but "Due to circumstances beyond our control, he is not available this weekend to attend Ditto."

Some sort of problem — described by the committee as "technical difficulties" — made them announce the possible abandonment of the originally announced date for September/October (which, as seen above, happened).

The progress reports were Impressions from the Ditto Masters.
