The Fanarchists was a club in New York City that met at The Nunnery and Riverside Dive. It "sponsored" Fanarcon, a big Christmas party. Coup was its clubzine. Fl. late 1950s.
Dave Mason was a member.
The club mutated into the second incarnation of the Futurians.
