Raymond E. Feist (born Raymond Elias Gonzales III) is an American fantasy author who is known primarily for The Riftwar Cycle, a series of novels and short stories. He has collaborated frequently with Janny Wurts, including The Empire Trilogy. His books have been translated into several languages.
