Balticon 43 was a convention held Memorial Day weekend, May 22-25, 2009 at the Marriott's Hunt Valley in Hunt Valley, MD. The GoHs were Charles Stross, Kurt Miller, Mary Crowell, and Scott Sigler. The Ghost of Honor was Edgar Allan Poe.
The chairman was Steven Joel Zeve. Paul Melko won the Compton Crook Award for Singularity's Ring. The previous year's winner was Mark . Van Name.
