Genuine ConFusion (ConFusion 10) was a convention held January 27–29, 1984, at the Plymouth Hilton in Plymouth, MI. The GoHs were Mike Resnick and Martha Beck. The toastmaster was Dick Smith, Wilson Tucker was the Friday Night Speaker and it was chaired by Nancy Tucker.

Memberships started at $10, rising to $15 at the door.

The Second Science Fiction Oral History Association Conference was held in conjunction with Genuine Confusion.

This was the last ConFusion run by the original AASFA.
