Emrys Howell Evans was a longtime fan from Mountain Home, Idaho. He was a member of Chicon, the second Worldcon in 1940, and Confederation, the 44th, in 1986, and many others in between. He seems to have been content to have been a supporting member — there’s no record of his attending.

During World War II, he appeared in the lists of fan soldiers of the Fanzine Service for Fans in Service.
