Frances Sykora attended the first Worldcon, Nycon 1, in 1939. She was the sister of Triumvir Will Sykora. She later served as “girl reporter” for Fantasy-News and belonged to the QSFL.
She must’ve liked it, since, in 1941, she married another fan on the Nycon concom, Mario Racic.
