The site convention is for pages to be in titlecase, so the page name should be 'Slan Shack', and we have a redirect for 'Slan shack' if needed. http://fancyclopedia.org/Standards#Page_titles explains more John (talk) 16:00, 22 July 2020 (PDT)

The venue category is reserved for specific venues, the generic term Slan shack should be in fanspeak, otherwise Category:Venue has Slan shack as an Unknown country. There is reason behind all this! John (talk) 01:52, 23 July 2020 (PDT)
I will be creating automatic maps of the venue category, and having Slan shack in them will break it. John (talk) 01:57, 23 July 2020 (PDT)
Venue Map John (talk) 02:19, 23 July 2020 (PDT)
- Slan Shack WAS a specific venue in Battle Creek, Michigan. It later lent its name to a generic fanspeak term for such fannish domiciles, which you would know if you had actually read the article, which covers them both.
- You seem to have a lot of rules for this site, John, many of which appear to exist only in your head. This isn’t supposed to be Wikipedia. I suggest you figure out how to create your mapping to ignore “venues” for which there is no specific address — you can’t rely on fans to follow your rules even if you were to spell them out.
