Herbert Levantman or Herman Leventman, an early New York fan, was one of the charter members of The Futurians, attending its first meeting in 1938.
He appears in a group picture in The Futurians (1977) by Damon Knight as Herbert Levantman, but Jack Speer named him Herman Leventman in Fancyclopedia 1 (1944), and Sam Moskowitz also used that name.
