Joe Sarno was a long-time fan living in Chicago, IL. He was half of Joe-Jim (the other half was Jim O'Meara). He was an actor in the fannish musical Requiem for a Fake Fan and the play The Purple Pastures. He was part of the Chicago: 1959 Worldcon bid.
