(???? – )

L. E. Bartle was a UK fan from Staffordshire active in the 1940s and 1950s. He was a member of the Science Fantasy Society (SFS).

In 'I Remember Me' (Mimosa #11, 1991), Walt Willis examines his correspondence files for 1953. L. E. Bartle is among his many correspondents for the year, suggesting he was a reader of Hyphen, although sadly we've no idea what he said.

He is listed in the Directory of Science Fiction Fandom for 1955 but not for 1956.
