William G. Stone

William G. Stone was a UK fan from Leeds active in the 1930s. He was a member of the Science Fiction Association (SFA), joining in January 1938. In May of that year he was appointed Assistant Librarian of the Leeds branch and in August be became Club-Room Steward.

At the June 12, 1938, meeting:

... a new series of talks was inaugurated by Mr. W. G. Stone on 'Materials and their Uses' amply illustrated with drawings and samples for 'The Manufacture and Uses of Linoleum.'
