W. Skelton was a UK fan active in the 1940s and perhaps earlier. He was a subscriber to Futurian War Digest.
In October 1942 he wrote to FWD from Egypt where he was serving in the Royal Air Force. He described himself as an 'old friend' of Harry Turner and had corresponded with Harold Gottliffe, leading to him being the 'second recipient of a bundle of stf sent out by the kind hearted Alicia Feather'.
He also said he had a contribution lined up for Gotliffe's Jester in Exile where 'I may at last make a debut as a fan-mag contributor'. Sadly, it never did appear.
He is not listed in the Directory of Anglo-Fandom for 1945.
