The Stoke-on-Trent Science Fiction Club was a UK group founded by Julian Parr in 1939. Kenneth Johnson, S. G. J. Ouseley and Stanley Roberts were also members. In May 1941 Futurian War Digest said they were 'The only fantasy organisation still functioning in Britain today' and that 'A quarterly report dated April 1941 has just been issued and gives details of the society's membership, finances and library'. In February 1943 Johnson reported in Futurian War Digest that the club was in poor shape as only two members hadn't joined the forces.

In Operation Fantast #2 (December 1947), Johnson was reported as trying to reform the group. A later Stoke-on-Trent SF Society was formed in 1976 and is unrelated except by geography.

This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.

When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can!
