Steven Francis, a Louisville conrunning fan, along with his wife, Sue Francis, was the mainstay of Rivercon for its 25 years. He has worked on numerous other regionals and Worldcons. He was co-head of the Louisville in '94 Worldcon bid.
He and Sue administer the Big Heart Award and are part of the team behind FranHurst.
Steve holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California – Berkeley. The Francises have been married for more than 50 years and have five children.
