Scientifiction: The First Fandom Report
(Were you looking for something else scientifictional?)
Scientifiction is a quarterly newsletter/fanzine (clubzine? genzine?) published by the First Fandom club. It replaced its early-1990s minimal First Fandom Report and the first series was styled Scientifiction: The First Fandom Report on the cover.
Editor/publisher since 2015 is club president John L. Coker III. Special Features Editor is Jon D. Swartz. Past editors include Jim and Barbara Harmon, Paul McCall, Mark Schulzinger, and Joseph P. Martino.
The publication has featured a series of articles honoring original members, the “Original Member Spotlight.” The members honored were David A. Kyle, genre artist Murphy Anderson, Robert Madle, Bob Peterson, William Hamling, and Jack Robins. The series was written by Coker and Swartz.
