Ronald A. Armitage was a UK fan from Sheffield active in the 1930s. He was a member of the Science Fiction Association (SFA), joining in August 1937.

He had been a reader of Scientifiction: The British Fantasy Review, writing in v1#2 (April 1937) to say that:

This Review will certainly stimulate interest in science fiction in this country. It’s a thing for which we have been waiting for years.
