MystiCon III was a convention held during August 1984. It had been scheduled for the Holiday Inn - Tanglewood, just outside Roanoke, VA, but a few weeks before the convention the hotel management changed and cancelled the contract. A scaled-down convention (no function space) was held at the Thrifty Inn - Airport, in Roanoke. The GoH was Karl Edward Wagner.
