Merry-Go-Round Magazine

Merry-Go-Round Magazine was a proto-fanzine produced by Wally Gillings at some point before 1927. It was handwritten and had a circulation of ten, and managed seven issues before coming to a halt with its serial 2000 AD incomplete, ‘just when’ according to Gillings, ‘my hero had managed to establish radio contact with Mars’.
It is by some metrics the first UK fanzine although it's unlikely that anybody else in fandom ever saw a copy. It's almost certain that none survive.
