Mein Omp-F was an apazine for OMPA published in the UK by Colin Freeman.
In its first issue he introduced himself:
A glance down the membership list informs me that I am pretty much a complete stranger to the majority of ompans, so perhaps a little self-introduction would not be entirely unetiquettical. Age:- 28 (looks younger; feels older). Sex:- Male (semi-retired). Occupations- Professional hospital patient (yeh, they pay me 13/6d. a week to stay here). Hobbies:- Tape-recording, plastic kit modelling, and adapting famous paintings to the medium of tapestry work (like I get a Picasso or a Matisse and I improve it). Birthplaces:- Leeds, Yorkshire. (From which you’ll gather that I must be a decent sort of chap)
