(Did you mean a different Mathom?)
Mathom was a Tolkien fanzine published by Grahame Lamb in the UK from various addresses in Norwich, Hyton and Croydon.
Peter Roberts noted the first issue in Checkpoint 5 (June 1971), describing it as spirit duplicated with two foolscap pages of Tolkien news. Darroll Pardoe in Checkpoint 54 (October 1974) listed availability as in exchange for a letter or a stamp, "Various letters and chatter about and around Tolkien subjects, rather like Middle Earth-Worm in fact".
