Lodbrog was a fanzine published by John Bangsund for ANZAPA and elsewhere.
In the first issue Bangsund wrote:
Lodbrog means... but why should I tell you? If you read anything else but that mind-rotting science fiction stuff, you would know what it meant; and if you still didn't know, you would have the initiative to investigate at the first opportunity. Go to, thou sluggard!
In a summary of his past publishing ventures included in Philosophical Gas 50 (November 1979), Bangsund said of this title:
Lodbrog (5 issues, numbered 1-4, 6). No.4 was done for OMPA and printed by Dave Piper in England; it didn’t appear in ANZAPA. No.6 did, though it isn't in Leigh's list; it was part of Scythrop 27. I don't know whether I did a no. 5, but it seems most likely that I didn't.
