Leslie Jackson was a fan from Salford near Manchester active in the 1950s. He was identified as the chairman of the Nor'west Science Fantasy Club in a letter published in New Worlds #15 (May 1952) in which he also praised the artwork of Gerard Quinn, felt Alan Hunter was 'improving with each issue', but Bob Clothier 'seems to go up and down'.
