John R. Neill

(November 12, 1877 – September 13, 1943)
John Rea Neill, an American fantasy artist and children’s author, is best known for his work on L. Frank Baum’s Oz series. He wrote several Oz volumes, as well.
Neill also did a great deal of illustration the leading magazines of the 20th century and a number of other books.
