Jim Groves

James Arthur Groves was a British fan and fan artist from London active in the first half of the 1960s. He emigrated to the USA in October 1966.

He edited both the BSFA Newsletter and Vector during the early 1960s and many of his genre essays were published in its pages. He also co-edited The Wall.

After his move to the US, Groves wrote to the London Newsletter 9 (May 1968):

Jim Groves has sent a duplicated letter explaining why he hasn't been writing letters recently. He is now Assistant Production Manager with Faraday Press and is also studying for degrees in Geology in the hopes of getting a job as a planetologist. He wants to keep in touch but "Work all day, school four nights a week and homework the rest of the time".
