(???? -)

J. L. Pope was a UK fan from Church Crookham in Hampshire active in the 1930s and perhaps 1940s. He was a member of the Science Fiction Association (SFA), joining in August 1938. He's not otherwise mentioned in Novae Terrae but New Worlds #3 (May 1939) credits him with the idea for the change in cover title lettering starting with that issue.

He is listed in the Directory of Anglo-Fandom of 1945 although marked 'not in touch at the present moment'.
