Notes for the Speech

The Fannish Frisian Freedom Front (4-F) was created by George Flynn for obscure reasons in the early 70s to support the Highmore in '76 bid. At Discon II, wearing a bag over his head, Flynn read a statement in Frisian (a language closely related to English, and spoken by a half-million people in northern Netherlands, Germany and southern Denmark along the shores of the North Sea) supporting Highmore. He wore a SmoFF (Secret Masters of Frisian Fandom) button.

This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.

When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can!
