(???? – )
Don Mathieson was a New Zealand fan seemingly active in the 1950s. The second progress report for Festivention, the 1951 convention in the UK, listed him among the expected international visitors. Forrest J Ackerman, in the UK ahead of the convention, reported in Fantasy Times #128 (April 2, 1951) that 'The New Zealand fan is already in London'. However, while the several reports of the convention make frequent mention of the international visitors from seven countries, none of them mention Mathieson or any other New Zealander, suggesting he either kept a very low profile or didn't attend after all.
