Balticon 57

Balticon 57 was a convention held May 26–29, 2023, at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore, MD. The GoHs were Jane Yolen (who could not attend due to health reasons and was represented by her son, Adam Stemple), Ariel Burgess (artist), Technical Difficulties 2.0 (music), and Bryan Jordan (fan). Other guests included John Scalzi as 2023 Heinlein Award winner, Daphne Eftychia Arthur (February 21, 1963–January 21, 2023, Ghost of Honor), P. Djeli Clark (2022 Compton Crook Award winner), and Micaiah Johnson (2021 Compton Crook Award) winner. Brad Lee Howard had been announced as Music GoH, but was dropped from the roster.
