In spite of the APA name, this was intended to be a convention, organized by Erwin S. Strauss and scheduled to be held November 28-30, 1974, at Stouffer's National Center in Arlington, VA. Some time in September or early October, it was moved one weekend later to December 6-8, 1974. By November, it was cancelled.
The idea of the convention was that each member could supply an hour's worth of program.
