The 1968 Southwestercon, also known as DallasCon, was held June 20–23, 1968, at the Hotel Southland in Dallas, TX. The GoH was Harold Le Doux, a comics artist best known for the Judge Parker strip and it was more a comics con than an SF con. It was chaired by Larry Herndon and Tom Reamy and there were about 150 attendees. The program included films, and speeches by Le Doux, Fritz Leiber, and H. H. Hollis.

There was a brief con report in the August 1968 issue of Science Fiction Times.
