Also known as the North East Tolkien Society (NETS) it is centered in New York City. It was founded in September 2000 by Anthony Burdge and is a smial of the Tolkien Society as well as a Chartered Group of The Mythopoeic Society. It is defunct as of about 2010.

It had a bimonthly clubzine, Parma Nölé.
