Also known as the North East Tolkien Society (aka NETS), Heren Istarion was a J. R. R. Tolkien club centered in New York City. It was founded in September 2000 by Anthony Burdge and was a smial of the Tolkien Society as well as a Chartered Group of The Mythopoeic Society. It went defunct about 2011.
It had a bimonthly clubzine, Parma Nölé.
