Deb Geisler was a Boston-area conrunning fan who wandered in to convention running when she inquired of Jim Hudson if Noreascon 3 could use one of her students as an intern. Little did she know that she would lead the Orlando in 2001 and Boston in 2004 bids and chair Noreascon 4. She was a member of NESFA and MCFI and also chaired Boskone 36 in 1999. She worked on numerous other Worldcon committees. She edited several books for NESFA Press.
