(???? –)

Val Jeeves (née Valerie Williams) was a British fan. She attended cons and appeared in costume at Loncon II.

Although she was much admired by Anglofandom of the time, reported Ron Bennett in Skyrack 18, her March 1960 engagement to Terry Jeeves caused him to announce he was giving up his role in pubbing Triode, which was therefore folding. However, she’s credited with co-editing some early issues of Erg, at least until they produced baby Sandra Mary together.

The couple, who married in July 1960, were both teachers at the same school in Sheffield. Val was Jeeves’ second wife.
