(???? -- )

Tony Klein was a British fan from London active in the 1950s and 1960s. He was listed as a member of the British Teenage Fantasy and Science Fiction Society in Periscope #2 in October 1952 (although his name was misspelled 'Kline') and joined other members of the group at the 1953 Coroncon when they reinvented themselves as The Junior Fanatics. He was at Cytricon I in 1955 but a report in Contact #3 (November 1956) said that he had 'posted to Cyprus within two hours when the crisis cropped up.' It was seemingly a short posting as #5 one month later reported him back in London.

He attended Loncon I, the 1957 Worldcon where he was described by Bob Madle:

Also present to send us off in grand style was Tony Klein, a young, good-looking London fan of about early voting age. I had noticed that Tony and Ron Bennett had one thing in common - Lynn Berman, mentioned in previous chapters [of A Fake Fan in London] as Ted Carnell's Girl Friday. At Globe meetings and during the Loncon they both showered her with attention and, I suppose, could be considered friendly rivals.

He later attended the London Symposium in October 1959. He isn't listed as a member of Loncon II in 1965 but he was one of the 'Names from Fandoms Past' noted as present in Skyrack #83 and he may finally have escaped the designation of 'young'.
