Virginia "Ginny" Heinlein born Virginia Doris Gerstenfeld, was a chemist, biochemist, engineer, and the third wife of Robert A. Heinlein, an award-winning SF author.

Virginia was one of the founders of the Heinlein Society and received the rated self-referential Heinlein Award.
