(Did you mean the early fan Bob Jordan?)

(October 17, 1948 – September 16, 2007)

Robert Jordan was the pseudonym of author James Oliver Rigney, Jr. He used the pen name for fantasy novels, including his bestselling The Wheel of Time series, for which he is best known. The series, comprising 14 books and a prequel novel, was finished by Brandon Sanderson after Jordan's death. (Jordan left notes for what was to be the final novel, but Sanderson made it into three.)

He also wrote historical fiction as Reagan O'Neal, and westerns as Jackson O'Reilly. He was married to editor Harriet McDougall.
