Readercon 19 was held July 17-20, 2008 at the Burlington Marriott in Burlington, MA. GoH Jonathan Lethem, James Patrick Kelly, and in memorial Stanislaw Lem.
At this con, Veronica Schanoes accused Aaron Agassi, a fan with a history of mental illness, of harrassment, with the result that he was banned from Readercon for life. Schanoes‘ witness was Genevieve Valentine, who was at the center of a more controversial ban after Readercon 23.
