R. J. (Rebecca) Anderson was born in Uganda, raised in Ontario, went to school in New Jersey, and now lives in Stratford, Ontario.
Married and a mother of three sons, she reads to them classic works of SF and fantasy. She writes that she tries to bring a similar excitement to the novels she writes for children and teens.
She is probably best known for her "Ultraviolet" series: Ultraviolet (2011) and Quicksilver (2013).
