A bid to hold the 1960 Worldcon in Philadelphia, promoted, if not sponsored by PSFS, which published a bidzine, Out of the Silent Fandom, on its behalf.

It lost to Pittsburgh in '60 at site selection at Detention. (See 1960 Site Selection for details.) Its competition was DC in 1960, Pittsburgh in '60 and Chicago in '60.
