OryCon 15 was a convention held November 12-14, 1993 at the Red Lion/Doubletree Columbia River in Portland, OR. GoHs: Terry Pratchett (Pro), Mark Ferrari (Artist), Robert Lionel Fanthorpe (Special Guest) and Tempest (Celtic rockers sponsored by the Friends of Filk.) It was Chaired by Andrew Nisbet, Alan & Nancy Smith and attendance was 1,358.

The convention booklet included an extended version of Pratchett’s Discworld short story “Theatre of Cruelty”, originally published in Bookcase magazine in July 1993. The version from the con booklet, along with many fan translations, can be read online at L-Space.
