(1) A Story Background

The environment and background of a stfantasy story -- or, more properly, of a series. Several, such as the Lovecraft, Oz, Lensman, Conan, and Shaver Mythos, have become well-known enough to be burlesqued or otherwise used in fan and pro writing.

(2) A Fanzine

A fanzine published by Steven Deyo in St Paul, MN. In 1987 when he no longer had time to publish it, it merged into Minas Tirith Evening-Star.
