(November 1913 – May 1974)

Doña Stebbins Campbell attended NYCon in 1939 with her husband, SF writer/editor John W. Campbell, Jr.

They married in 1931, had two children and divorced in 1949. Doña left Campbell to marry SF writer George O. Smith, who nevertheless continued to sell stories to Campbell at Astounding.

John Campbell wrote as Don A. Stuart, a pseudonym derived from her mother's maiden name.
