Derek Ashby is Australian fan who lives in South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He was OE of QVC, a member of ANZAPA, and is married to fellow fan Christine Ashby, They were on the Melbourne in '85 committee, and organized Smoffcon 1. He ran unsuccessfully for DUFF in 1982.
