The 1997 ConFusion named ConFusion-17. It was held January 24-26, 1997 at the Van Dyke Park Suite in Warren, MI. GoHs: Samuel R. Delany, Susan VanCamp, Mark Shappirio and Joey Shoji. Toastmaster: Kathe Koja. Chaired by Katherine Becker.
