Capclave 2001 was held September 28-30, 2001 at the Sheraton College Park in College Park, MD. The GoH was Gardner Dozois and the Ghost of Honor was Joe Mayhew. It was chaired by Bob MacIntosh and the theme was "Short Stories".

This was the first Capclave which, after a hiatus of some years, replaced the late, lamented Disclave.

There was a special Worlds of Wonder art exhibit.
