An apazine published by Criss Stevens from Pasadena for APA-L around 1968.

Per Bruce Pelz's checklist Glamdring 5 (bundled with Ankus 21), Barefoot Contessa was 1 or 2 dittoed pages of standard format. Issue I.3 appeared in APA-L 172 on 1 February 1968 (not as first of the year, so we may presume it was launched in January) and a new one followed each week of February, although the numbering scheme as well as, apparently, title itself changed to The Barefoot Contessa 5 in APA-L 174 (15 Feb) and the issue in mailing 176 on 29th was evidently mistyped as 6 again and not 7 (the page numbers differ, Pelz had noted he would not list repeated distribution of one fanzine and, indeed, there would be no reason for such a re-sending within the same APA).
