The 16th World Fantasy Convention was held November 2-4, 1990 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, in Schaumburg, IL. The GoHs were F. Paul Wilson, L. Sprague de Camp, Susan Allison, and David B. Mattingly was Guest Artist. Special Guests were Robert Bloch, Julius Schwartz, the convention's theme was "An H. P. Lovecraft Centenary Celebration", the toastmaster was Raymond E. Feist and it was chaired by Robert Weinberg.
